My Worst Nemesis

He's someone I respect for his intelligence and understand because of our common passions: sense of humor, appreciation of artistic forms, and our taste in women. But it's our differences that come between us. Soon those differences are easily exacerbated with silly arguments and petty competitions; Who's the better at a video game, are coasters universally necessary on all tabletops, whose music is more pleasing aesthetically, or what's the proper way to speak to a lady. Eventually, those disagreements turn into a complicated sport of wit and endurance, one that persists until either participant is indirectly lead to that ultimate fate. And at that time, the survivor will declare himself the winner. However, should he feel guilty? Maybe even lonely, having lost the familiarity of a friend? If so, perhaps he will finally feel shame and what it's like to lose for once.
